Housing is everyone’s business…and everyone’s opportunity

The City of Red Wing’s Housing Summit on Oct. 29 was an encouraging first step. Leaders from across sectors came together to discuss one of our community’s greatest challenges—and greatest opportunities—housing. It was heartening to see so many people working toward solutions.

Building More Than a House, Building Hope

Naomi is one of our newest homeowners in Kenyon, MN. Her home is one of two student-build homes completed in 2025. Over 3,000 hours from Kenyon-Wanamingo high school students, 1,800 hours from Rochester volunteers, plus support from local volunteers, her family, friends—and our staff—helped make this home possible.
