We’re heading to Chiquimula, Guatemala!
Guatemala faces a housing deficit of 1.78 million, leaving millions of families to live in poverty or without access to decent housing.
We’re planning a Global Village/Thrivent Build from March 14 through March 20, 2027 with Rice County Habitat for Humanity. Costs are still being determined at this time. Thrivent members receive a subsidy.
The construction projects vary but can include pouring concrete floors, building cookstoves, and new home construction.
