Now They Can Come and Go Safely

For Lee and Sharon of Lake City, a new ramp made all the difference. After years of struggling with unsafe entry steps, Habitat’s Home Repair program gave them back independence and peace of mind. Skilled staff, dedicated volunteers, and caring donors made it possible.
Home Is Where Care Lives

For Denise, homeownership wasn’t just a dream, it was a necessity. She works full-time and is the sole caregiver for her mother, Elaine, whose stage IV cancer made safe, accessible housing essential. Hope Has a New Address!

Anne & Tabbathia are among the newest Habitat homeowners in Red Wing. After putting in many hours of sweat equity and partnering with local volunteers, friends, family, “and our Red Wing Go 2 Team, they’ve moved into a place of their own.
Their story is proof: Habitat homes are built and purchased, not given away. Families work alongside neighbors and buy their homes with an affordable mortgage, creating strength and stability for the future.
