Turn Your Minnesota Tax Liability into Affordable Housing for Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity
2025 Project Contributions are NOW OPEN!

Make an Impact & Earn a Generous Tax Credit

Do you or your business have a Minnesota state tax liability? Instead of paying it to the state, you can turn that tax liability into affordable housing right here in Goodhue County! The Minnesota State Housing Tax Credit Contribution Program (SHTC) allows individuals and businesses to contribute toward critical Habitat for Humanity homeownership projects—and in return, receive 85% of their contribution back as a state tax credit.

This is a first-come, first-served opportunity, and funds go fast! In 2024, all available credits were claimed before the year’s end. Don’t miss out—2025 contributions are now open!
