Hope Has a New Address!

A fresh start filled with independence, stability, and hope.

Congratulations and welcome to the Habitat Homeowner family, Anne and Tabbathia! Thanks to all of the incredible volunteers and community partners who made this possible.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Anne and Tabbathia, our new Goodhue County Habitat homeowners in Red Wing. Their new home marks a fresh start filled with independence, stability, and hope.

This home came together through extraordinary community partnership and the dedication of countless volunteers. We’d like to thank the Red Wing Go2Crew, AmeriCorps teams, local volunteers, ADM, First Farmers & Merchants Bank, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Red Wing HRA, Renner Roofing, and many generous friends and neighbors who showed up to help build alongside our construction staff.

Anne and Tabbathia contributed many hours of sweat equity, too. As part of Habitat’s model, families partner with us to help build their homes and purchase them with an affordable mortgage. It’s truly a hand up, not a handout.

Both Anne and Tabbathia are deeply grateful to everyone who built, supplied, or fed the crew. Their home is a testament to the power of community and kindness.
